Long/Time Exposure Photography: This fun assignment allowed us to be creative with long exposure photography. Using a tripod and long exposure times, I was able to take photos of a busy street in Pickering Village. The neon lights of the sushi shop across the street stand out vividly against the flowing traffic. Watching the blur appear on the camera from passing cars was entertaining. Christmas lights were being put up as I watched. I saw a very nice light fixture in a hair salon and asked for permission to shoot inside. Waving the camera around in front of a street light, stop light, and sign board produced some very interesting effects! At home, my husband had fun making different patterns with the different coloured lights from my phone.
